To the Citizens of Paducah and McCracken County,
Our new department website was created to better serve the
citizens, to keep them informed of recent news events and department matters.
I believe in as much transparency as possible when it comes
to government matters, and the way we conduct our business.
In designing
our new website, we have attempted to make it as user friendly as possible. We
provide all press releases that are sent out to all of our local news media
outlets, archive news releases, as well as articles on department matters that
the public may have an interest in. It also includes a section where we post
wanted persons, as well as missing or endangered people or children. There are
valuable links available which can direct you to the Kentucky Sex Offender
Registry, the United States and Kentucky’s Office of Homeland Security, and
many others. There is also a section that lists each year’s delinquent
property tax bills which is required by Kentucky law.
There is also information on how to contact the Sheriff’s
Office either by telephone or email. The email addresses are listed of the
sheriff and his employees as we encourage people to always contact us with
questions, comments, or concerns that they may have.
The new departments website is just one of many new ways we are trying to make our agency better able to serve you.
Sincerely,
Sheriff Jon Hayden
