Re: Injury Accident At U.S. 68 & Bryant Ford Rd.

A two car accident at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Bryant Ford Rd. sent two people to Lourdes Hospital this afternoon and reduced U.S. 68 to one lane of traffic for approximately forty-five minutes. A head on collision occurred when a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Juwan A. Hodge, 50, of Paducah crossed the center line. According to Mr. Hodge a vehicle was stopped in his lane with no turn signal on and as he began braking he slid into oncoming traffic. Mr. Hodge's car struck an East bound Ford Fusion driven by Anne Silkman, 64, of Murray, Ky. The two were treated and transported to Lourdes Hoapital by ambulance complaining of multiple injuries. The Reidland / Farley Fire Department and Mercy Regional EMS also responded to the accident.
