Re: Suspect: Joyce M. Shields

Mrs. Shields was a book keeper for the Hallelujah Fellowship Center, located at 990 Berger Road, McCracken County. Mrs. Shields was under investigation for the theft of over $15,000, this had been going on since January of 2006 according to the minister. The McCracken County Sheriff Department received a call from the minister of the church on 8/1/07. Deputy Chad Baker responded to the call, Deputy Baker made a report of the theft. The case was turned over to the McCracken County Sheriff Department Detective Division. Mrs. Shields was called in for an interview. During the interview she confessed to taking the money and to writing checks from the church to herself. Mrs. Shields was charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking Over/$300. Mrs. Shields resides in Paducah, KY. She is 48 years old, at this time there is no photo available.
