Re: Traffic accident with injuries
A Paducah woman was injured when her moped was struck by a SUV on Clark's River Road at 12:25 pm today.
Melissa Davenport, age 24 of Paducah was riding her 2005 Roketa moped eastbound on Clark's River Road and was attempting to make a left turn into Countryaire Mobile Home Park. Vernita Woolridge, age 31 was turning west from Countryaire onto Clark's River Road in a 2000 Dodge Durango. As both units turned the moped was struck by the front of Woolridge's vehicle. Davenport was knocked from the moped and suffered apparent minor injuries. She was treated at the scene by Mercy Regional EMS and transported to Western Baptist Hospital.
