Re: Farley man arrested on drug charges

On Thursday September 27, 2007 at 6:29 p.m. the McCracken County Sheriff's Department's Drug Division executed a search warrant at 2229 Homewood Avenue. This particular residence is located in the Farley community of McCracken County. The sheriff's department had recently received information that alleged suspected illegal drug activity to be occurring out of a detached garage which was located behind 2229 Homewood Avenue. Through the investigation sheriff's detectives determined that the garage was occupied by the landowners grandson Charles R. Anderson.

Upon execution of the search warrant detectives located Mr. Anderson asleep on a mattress in the garage. A search of the garage revealed a quantity of Marijuana and several articles of drug paraphernalia.

Kentucky State Police assisted with the search by utilizing there drug detection dog "Rex".

Mr. Anderson was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

ARRESTED: Anderson, Charles R. 36 years of age
