Re: Paducah Man Faces Drug Charges

On Thursday October 25, 2007 at 08:59 a.m. the McCracken County Sheriff's Department's Drug Division executed a search warrant at 1033 North 12th Street. Detectives had been investigating complaints and allegations of illegal drugs, more specifically Crack Cocaine, being sold from this particular residence.

It would at least appear that a male subject in who's identity was not determined attempted to tip the suspect/s off as officers were approaching the residence on foot. One of the officers involved in the operation observed a male subject become concerned about our presence and immediately dialed a number on his cell phone while watching our approach to the residence. Upon officers entering the residence the phone to the residence was ringing leading detectives to believe that the caller was the male subject outside.

The residence was found to be occupied by an adult male, Charles C. Bradshaw Jr., and a juvenile. A search revealed residual amounts of Cocaine on a set of digital scales, over two thousand dollars in US currency, baggies, a Taurus 38 caliber revolver (loaded) and other related items.

Bradshaw, who was a convicted felon and served prison time for attempted Murder in 1992 told detectives that the scales belonged to him but stated they were for weighing gold. No gold was recovered or observed during the search.

Bradshaw has previous convictions for Trafficking In Marijuana Over 5 Pounds and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.

Bradshaw was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
