Re: Injury Accident on Said Road

The Sheriff's Department, Mercy Regional EMS and the Reidland / Farley Fire Department responded to an injury accident in the 400 block of Said Rd. this morning. A 1995 Geo Tracker driven by 56 year old Michael G. Meunier, of Paducah, was North bound on Ky. 131 ( Said Rd. ) when his passengers side wheels dropped off the right side of the road. The SUV traveled through the ditch where it struck a driveway culvert and became air borne for approximately 30 feet. After landing in the ditch on the other side of the driveway the vehicle nosed into the dirt and cart wheeled once. It landed up right in the ditch, but was facing the wrong way. The driver was treated at the scene by Reidland / Farley Firefighters and Mercy Regional EMS. He was taken to Western Baptist Hospital for further examination.
