Re: Accident KY 286 and Mckendree Church

McCracken County Deputy Sheriff Brad Wallace responded to a 2 vehicle accident at the intersection of KY 286 and Mckendree Church Road at approximately 13:43 pm. 18 year old Kyle Zervas of West Paducah was traveling northbound on Mckendree church road in a 1998 Plymouth Breeze and failed to stop for the stop sign. Mr. Zervas collided into the drivers side of a westbound 2006 Chevrolet Pick-up driven by 48 year old Roy Garman of Smithland KY., as a result of the accident Mr. Garman's vehicle overturned. Both drivers were transported by Mercy Ambulance to Western Baptist hospital for injuries. Traffic was slowed for approximately 1 hour while rescue and clean up persons worked to clear the scene. The sheriff's department was assisted by both Concord and West McCracken Fire departments with traffic and scene safety. Mr. Zervas was cited for operating without a drivers license as a result of the investigation
