Re: Vehicles stolen in Farley / Reidland area.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department is investigating recent vehicle thefts in the Reidland / Farley area. A vehicle was stolen from an Auto Body located on Husbands Road and was found abandoned on Bridge Street. Another vehicle was stolen from an address on Fisher Boulevard in Reidland and remains at large. Two other vehicles have been stolen and sold for scrap.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department urges residents to make sure their vehicles are locked and no keys be left out accessible for the thieves to take advantage of. If you notice anything in your neighborhood that is out of the ordinary such as suspicious persons or vehicles, try and get a description of the person and / or vehicle and their direction of travel if they leave before law enforcement arrives and contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Department at (270) 444-4719. If it is an emergency, call 911.
