Re: Burglary 1st Degree and Assault 2nd Degree Arrests

McCracken County Sheriff's Office Detectives arrested Kyle J. Hughes age 26, of 355 Clarkline Road, Paducah KY. at 3:00 pm this date. He was arrested at the sheriff's office after being interviewed by detectives about an assault that occurred Feb. 10th on Clinton Road.

It is alleged Hughes went to a Clinton Road address and forced his way into the residence where he assaulted Marvin Bellinger age 23, with a 25 lb. barbell. Bellinger suffered head and facial injures and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Hughes was charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Burglary 1st Degree. The First Degree Burglary charge stems from Hughes forcing his way into the residence and causing physical injury to Bellinger.

No bond information at this time.
