Re:        Lane closure

Interstate 24 westbound near the 1 mile marker will be reduced to one lane on Monday Feb. 25 at approximately 08:30 a.m. Traffic will be slowed for several hours while recovery crews work to remove a semi tractor and trailer that wrecked during this past weeks ice storm. Traffic is advised to use an alternate route if possible. It may be necessary to close both westbound lanes for short periods of time during the recovery, drivers should expect delays. Updates will follow if the situation changes.
