Michael Burnett, 36, of LaCenter, was arrested on five counts of theft by deception under $300.

Knowing they would help him, Mr. Burnett would quote bible scriptures while he preyed largely on the elderly.
At the time of this press release, there are approximately 30 known residents who have been contacted by Mr. Burnett and other individuals attempting to deceive them. These are all believed to be related.
