On this date at approx 0725 hrs a Lone Oak juvenile was involved in a single vehicle collision with injuries.

While traveling northbound on Old Mayfield Road (near Herzog Lane) the operator appears to have failed to negotiate a right curve causing the vehicle to cross the southbound lane, drop off the left shoulder, strike a mailbox, a utility pole, a driveway culvert embankment, and then overturn on it's side in an open yard area.

The operator was removed from the vehicle by Hendron Lone Fire Dept. by mechanical means and transported to Lourdes Hospital By Mercy Regional Ambulance for treatment.
