
Search Warrant Leads To Four Arrests
The McCracken County Sheriff Department Drug Division received complaints alleging illegal drug activity to be occurring at 2415 Clarkline Road. Detectives investigation led to a search warrant being obtained for the residence.
On 04/15/08 at 20:15 detectives executed the search warrant. Upon approaching the residence detectives detected the odor of burning Marijuana. The odor intensified upon entering the residence. Detectives located two individuals (Derek Duckett and Melissa Clerk) at the residence. After approximately 30 minutes into the search detectives observed a vehicle pull up to the residence which was occupied by an additional two subjects (Daniel Duckett and Elise McGhee). A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of Marijuana and a set of scales.
A search of the residence revealed Marijuana, several items of drug paraphernalia including scales, baggies, Cocaine residue pipes, along other related items. Detectives located Oxycontin pills on Derek Duckett's person.
Detectives determined based on the investigation that both Derek Duckett and Elise McGhee had smoked Marijuana at the residence and left just prior to law enforcements arrival. The investigation also revealed that Derek Duckett had been providing Marijuana to at least one of the individuals at the residence.

All four individuals were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
