At approx. 1346 hrs this date a vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of U.S.60 and Metropolis Lake Rd. A vehicle driven by Marshall Bobo 75 of Paducah was stopped at the intersection by a flashing red light. Mr. Bobo stopped and thought vehicles west bound had a flashing red light as well. Mr. Bobo then attempted to pull across traffic headed south on Metropolis Lake Road striking a vehicle driven by Robert Webb 52 of LaCenter. Mr. Webb was traveling west on U.S. 60 and had a yellow flashing light for his direction. Mr. Webb was transported to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment.
