Paducah Couple arrested by McCracken Sheriff's Deputies for attempting to obtain controlled substance from a Lone Oak Pharmacy with a forged prescription.

On Monday June 30, a man dropped off a prescription at CVS Pharmacy located at 3001 Lone Oak Road in Lone Oak. The prescription was for 20MG Adderall, a controlled substance.

It was determined that the doctors name on the prescription had been forged. McCracken Sheriff's deputies began an investigation at that time. On Tuesday July 01 at about 8:45PM, a female showed up at the pharmacy to pick up the prescription. Sheriff's deputies detained her, and found that the man that had originally dropped off the forged prescription the day prior was at a residence located at 643 North 24th Street in Paducah. Sheriff's deputies went to the home and located the man whom was identified as being 34 year old Jon P. Miller. Miller was transported back to the pharmacy.

After some additional investigation, both the man (Jon Miller) and the woman 27 year old Emily L. Thompson were arrested on a charge of Attempting to obtain a Forged Prescription which in Kentucky is a class d felony.

Both Thompson and Miller live at the home located on North 24th Street in Paducah.

 

Both were transported and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
