Head-on Collision this morning on Hwy 60 West of Paducah

At approximately 0745 this date, a head on collision occurred on US 60, close to the Rice Springs road intersection. A 1994 Jeep Cherokee driven by James Reynolds of La Center Ky , DOB 08/08/1988, was east bound on US 60 when he  crossed  the center line and hit a Wagner Moving and Storage Semi-truck head on, which was driven by Randell Boyd of Hickory KY, DOB 10-15-1953.

The Jeep Cherokee passenger, Jodi Pendleton DOB 08/31/1989 was transported to Western Baptist Hospital with multiple injuries. James Reynolds was flown by PHI to Evansville IN with multiple injuries. Mr. Reynolds was trapped in the vehicle for approximately 30minutes before he was cut free. Randell Boyd was not injured in the accident.

Members of West McCracken fire dept extricated Mr Reynolds from the vehicle. McCracken DES and USEC security assisted with traffic control.
US 60 was closed for approximately 3 hrs.
