Paducah Couple Arrested On Drug Possession Charges

A joint investigation between the Paducah Police Department and the McCracken County Sheriff Department Drug Division ended early Wednesday morning after detectives executed a search warrant at 700 Whitney Drive. The search warrant was executed at approximately 6:40 a.m. on July 30, 2008. Both agencies had received numerous complaints of alleged drug activity to be occurring at this residence. Upon entering the residence detectives located who was identified as being Jeremiah Allen. Allen told detectives that he had been residing at the location for several weeks. Shortly after detectives began there search a female who was identified as being Ronnita J. Pullen arrived at the residence. Pullen also stated that she had been living at the residence with her boyfriend Allen for several weeks.

A search of the couples bedroom revealed Marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia.

" Most of the complaints we received concerning this address pertained to wild partying type activity. This is a predominately quite neighborhood and is not customary to receive complaints alleging drug activity to be occurring in. Individuals who choose to engage in illegal activity are not bound by certain streets or neighborhoods." Det. Sgt. Matt Carter

The owner of the residence, Richard O' Hair, was contacted and requested to return home for questioning. Mr. O'Hair was informed of the complaints that had been received by law enforcement concerning the activity that had been occurring at his residence. O'Hair was not charged with any crimes.

"Mr. O'Hair stated that he had been allowing different people to live in the home, and in exchange they were supposed to be doing repairs on the home," Sheriff Jon Hayden.

Both Allen and Pullen was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

"This was a joint investigation between the McCracken County Sheriff Department Drug Division and the Paducah Police Department D.A.V.E Unit."
