
Paducah Couple Charged With Drug Trafficking
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at 615 Highland Blvd. Apartment E on 08/01/08 at 11:14 a.m. The search warrant was obtained after detectives investigation revealed that the occupants of the residence were involved in Marijuana trafficking.
A search of the residence revealed a small amount of Marijuana, digital scales that contained Marijuana residue, and baggies that were suspected to have been used for packaging. These items were recovered off the top of an air duct that was concealed behind a wall in the kitchen area of the home. Detectives also recovered Valium, a prescribed controlled substance medication, out of the vehicle that was driven by the couple. Detectives determined that the medication had been given to Thomas by a family member.
Detectives arrested the male occupant of the residence, Elmo Thomas Jr. Thomas girlfriend, Tammy Spiceland, was cited to court. Thomas had a previous conviction for Marijuana possession in 2007.

CHARGES: Facilitation To Trafficking In Marijuana Under 8 Ounces 1st Offense
Spiceland was charged after the investigation revealed that she was benefiting from Thomas Marijuana sales.
