From: Det. Jesse Riddle

On 08-13-2008 at approximately 21:30 hrs The McCracken County Sheriff's Department conducted a home search at 130 Lois Lane in Paducah, McCracken County and arrested Larry "Doug" Hall. The investigation began after detectives received complaints alleging that Hall was in possession of a large quantity of marijuana. A search of the home revealed over 12 ounces of processed marijuana packaged for sale, digital scales, US currency, and various items of drug paraphernalia. A search of Hall's person, while at the residence revealed one plastic baggy containing marijuana and 19 doses of Lortab inside a cellophane wrapper. The investigation revealed that Hall had recently obtained 20 pounds of marijuana for a price of $9,000. Hall had hidden the bulk of the marijuana on a farm on Mcguire Road in Symsonia. Hall would take home smaller amounts, which he would sell from his McCracken County residence located on Lois Lane. During an interview, Hall stated that he worked on the farm as a cattle farmer and that the property where the marijuana was located was owned by his parents. After the investigation revealed that the hidden marijuana would be located in Graves County, Sheriff's detectives contacted Detective Cory Jessup of the Kentucky State Police for assistance. McCracken County Sheriff and Kentucky State Police detectives later located two packages concealed inside a storage compartment in a two-horse trailer on the Symsonia farm. The trailer was located in a wooded area on the left rear corner of the property. The two packages seized contained over 19 pounds of processed marijuana. Also located with the marijuana was a set of digital scales capable of weighing up to 75 pounds of marijuana at a time. Hall posted a $6500 bond on the McCracken County Charges on 08-15-2008 and was released from the McCracken County Jail. Today Hall was arrested again and charged with trafficking in over five pounds of marijuana and 2nd offense drug paraphernalia possession by Kentucky State Police stemming from the 19lbs of marijuana and the digital scales located in Graves County that belonged to Hall.
