Two Kevil Men Arrested On Drug Charges

 

The McCracken County Sheriff Department began an investigation after receiving information that illegal drug activity was taking place at 4125 Marshall Road. The investigation revealed that both James R. Parks and William E. Kelley resided at this location. The investigation also revealed that both individuals were using Marijuana and Kelley was selling Marijuana. At the conclusion of detectives investigation a search warrant was obtained for the residence and executed on 08/19/08 at approximately 20:35.

Upon entering the residence detectives located both Parks and Kelley inside the residence. A search of the residence revealed Marijuana packaged in approximately 21 different bags for sale, plastic baggies for packaging, scales, currency, pipes that contained Marijuana residue, drug ledgers that contained names, dollar and weight amounts from past Marijuana sales, along with other related items.

Both men were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail. Both gave full confessions in video taped interview to all charges.

CHARGES: Trafficking In Marijuana 2nd Offense Under 8 Ounces

Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense

 

ARRESTED: Parks, James R. 45 years of age

Of Marshall Road

 

CHARGES: Possession Of Marijuana Under 8 Ounces

Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense

 

Trafficking In Marijuana Under 8 Ounces 2nd Offense is a Class D Felony and can be punishable up to five (5) years imprisonment.
