Shortly after three o'clock this afternoon, Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to a two vehicle collision with injuries. The collision happened at the intersection of Oak Street and Berger Road. A 2003 Honda Van driven by a Christine J Hare from 2540 John Puryear Drive in Paducah. was traveling South on Berger Road when a dog ran out in front of her. MRS. Hare hit her brakes to avoid hitting the dog, when a 1991 Nissan Maxima driven by a Breondra C. Cork from 610 Caldwell Street, struck her in the rear end. Both drivers were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries. Mercy Regional Ambulance and Hendron Fire Department assisted on the scene. Berger Road was blocked for Approximately 30 minutes.
