Today at approximately 1425 hours at the intersection of Oaks Road and Hovekamp Roads a passenger car driven by 30 year old Marcey Simmons of Paducah, Kentucky was east bound on Oaks Road. Mrs. Simmons attempted to cross the intersection and collided with a Jeep traveling North on Oaks Road. Mrs. Simmons said she did not see a Jeep Cherokee that was north bound on Oaks Road. The Jeep was driven by 62 year old Mary Owen of Paducah, Kentucky. Both drivers were transported to Western Baptist Hospital and treated for their minor injuries. Reidland Fire Department assisted at the scene of the collision.
