 An accident on Lovelaceville Florence Station Road  East at 1900 hours resulted in injuries to a Mayfield KY  resident.

  James Campbell age 31, of Paducah was traveling North on Lovelaceville Florence Station Road  East,  South of Paducah in a 1998 Ford Contour. As he rounded the curve his vehicle started to slide from the wet pavement. Dennis Wilson  age 43 of Mayfield was traveling South on Lovelaceville Florence Station Road  East in a 2001 Ford Escape  . As Wilson rounded the curve he noticed a vehicle in his lane of traffic traveling backwards. Wilson stated that he tried to avoid the vehicle but could not.  Wilson  who was wearing his seatbelt was transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment.. Campbelll who also was wearing his seatbelt was not injured. Sheriff's Deputies were assisted at the scene by Hendron Fire Department, and Mercy Regional Ambulance. The accident was investigated by Deputy Steve Croft.
