Two Paducah men arrested on Wanton Endangerment and Firearms Charges after an attempted Car-Jacking

At about 1:30AM Saturday morning, a 911 call was placed by a man that reported that two men in a black blazer had attempted to box him in near Clarks River Road and the entrance to the Country Aire Mobile Home Park. The caller then stated that a man exited from the passenger side of the Blazer armed with a handgun and began coming towards him pointing the pistol at him. The caller reported that he then backed up only to be rammed by the Blazer spinning his vehicle around causing a considerable amount of damage the victims car. He then backed up again and got away hiding in the mobile home park then calling 911. The blazer then fled the area.

E-911 dispatchers dispatched sheriff's deputies to the area. Paducah Police Officers hearing the call and description of the get away vehicle spotted it on 21st Street near Adams. They stopped the vehicle and held the occupants after finding a loaded 22 caliber pistol hidden inside.

There was also considerable damage to the front of the suspect vehicle with paint tranfers matching those of the victims car.
