Injury Accident on New Hope Road

A single vehicle accident sent a local man to the hospital this afternoon. At approximately 6:05 P.M. the Sheriff's Department received a call to the 8600 block of New Hope Rd. An North bound 1997 Honda CRV driven by Donald W. Sullenger, 30, of Paducah had overturned several times in a ditch. According to Mr. Sullenger he had run off the right side of the road and then overcorrected and landed in the opposing ditch. Mr. Sullenger was taken to Lourde Hospital for treatment of his injuries. He was cited for not having insurance and for expired registration plates.
