On 11/13/08 at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Reidland Farley Fire Department along with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department responded to a vacant house fire at 2815 Benton Road. There was no electrical power to the residence. On 11/14/08 a Kentucky State Fire Marshal was called in to assist detectives with the investigation. It was determined at the time that the fire was considered arson. After a week long investigation by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Detective Division, four subjects were arrested. On 11/18/08, Caleb Reynolds 18 yoa of Husbands Road was arrested and charged with Arson 2nd Degree Class B Felony and Burglary 3rd Degree Class D Felony Mr. Reynolds was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail with a $10,000 cash bond. Also on 11/18/08, a fifteen year old male juvenile was arrested and charged with Arson 2nd Degree and Burglary 3rd Degree. He was taken to the McCracken County Juvenile Detection Center. On 11/20/08 a fifteen year old female and a thirteen year old female were both arrested and charged with Arson 2nd Degree and Burglary 3rd Degree. They were also taken to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center. All suspects are from the Farley area. At this time we do not have a dollar amount for the estimated damage to house.
