Reidland Accident Sends Two to Hospital                                                                                                                

 On December 21, 2008 at approx. 4:54 P.M., the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept. responded to an injury accident on Benton Rd in front of Reidland Baptist Church.  Upon arrival, it was discovered that Albert E Robinson, 83, of Paducah was driving his 1996 Chevrolet Caprice West bound on Benton Rd.  Robinson was attempting to make a left turn when he turned in front of Christy Storey, 30, of Benton.  Storey was driving a 2003 Nissan Altima East bound on Benton Rd when Robinson turned in front of her.  Storey and a juvenile riding with her were transported to Lourdes Hospital for apparent minor injuries.  All parties involved were wearing seat belts.  Deputies were assisted by the Reidland Fire Dept. and Mercy Regional Medical.
