We received a couple of calls tonight (Monday) from McCracken County residents stating that they had received calls from a man stating that he was soliciting money for the Sheriff's Dept for bullet-proof vest. When the callers requested more info from the man such as the number he was calling from, he hung up.

 

 

This caller is not representing our department. Our department never solicits money for any purpose as it is illegal to do so.
