On 11/18/08 the residence of Gary L. Byers was burglarized. The residence is located on HWY. 286, McCracken County. $9000.00 in cash and merchandise was taken from the residence. Some of the merchandise included rings, necklaces and a" Glock 9mm pistol that was loaded, the pistol was in a black nylon holster". Also taken was a large glass water bottle with a large amount of coins. One piece of the jewelry that should stand out is a custom made ELK HORN (ivory) silver bracelet.
