3 Vehicle accident sends 1 to the Hospital

At approximately 10:30 am a 3 vehicle accident delayed traffic near the US 62 US 68 intersection in Reidland. 40 year old Tracy Clawson of Mattoon Ill. was traveling eastbound on Hwy 62 in a 1998 Ford f-150, he stated he thought he was going to miss his turn and attempted to change lanes from the fast lane to the slow lane. When Clawson changed lanes his vehicle collided with a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo driven by 53 year old Jackie Thomason of Calvert City. Mr. Thomason was transported by ambulance to Western Baptist hospital for minor injuries. Thomason lost control of his vehicle after the collision and struck a box-trailer. The semi-truck and trailer driven by 59 year old Dennis Ahart of Paducah only had minor damage. The truck had been stopped at a stop sign when Thomasons' vehicle collided with it. No other injuries were reported.
