Search Of Reidland Home Leads To Methamphetamine Arrest
The McCracken County Sheriff Department Drug Division began an investigation several weeks ago after receiving allegations of illegal drug activity occurring at a Reidland home. The home was identified as 5137 Reidland Road. The investigation focused on surveillance on the home along with other covert approaches in efforts to determine what illegal activity was occurring there. Detectives determined that Methamphetamine was being used and sold out of the home and a search warrant was obtained for the residence.
The search warrant was executed on 02/20/09 at 20:25 p.m. Upon entering the residence detectives located two females. The females were identified as being Lean J. Edington and April M. McKenzie. A search of the residence revealed Methamphetamine, Marijuana, numerous articles of drug paraphernalia, along with other related items.
Both females were transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
