A 2 vehicle motor vehicle accident sends one to the hospital. At approximately 1045am 22 yr old Gustavo Martinez of Paducah was driving a 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck and was stopped on Bleich rd with the intention of turning left onto Elmdale rd. Martha King also of Paducah was also east bound on Bleich rd driving a 2002 Buick Century. Ms King stated that due to wet conditions she was unable to stop and hit Mr Martinez in the rear. Mr Martinez was transported to Lourdes hospital by Mercy Regional complaining of neck pain. Martinez did not have a operators license. He was cited to court and released.
