On 03/11/09, at approximately 6:02 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 4127 Benton Rd. on a burglary in progress. A witness telephoned 911 and reported that two unknown male subjects had entered the garage. As the witness remained on the telephone, he/she observed the individuals attempting to pry open the residence door.

A short time later, Deputy Greg Moyers arrived on scene and observed the two individuals (Juveniles) inside the garage. Deputy Moyers entered the garage and confronted the individuals. After the juveniles were secured, they were detained and taken to the sheriff's department for questioning.

Upon questioning the two juveniles, they admitted to entering the garage without permission and attempting to force their way into the residence by using a screwdriver to pry open the door.

While the juveniles remained in the garage, they consumed alcohol and attempted to gain entry into the residence.

One of the juveniles had mail in his pocket belonging to the victim's address.
