Today at 1453, Reidland - Farley Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Homewood Avenue. A 63 year old Farley man was burning brush from the ice storm last month that got out of control. The fire spread to the back porch of the residence and the detached garage. The man who had congestive heart failure and apparently had a heart attack while trying to fight the fire. He was pronounced dead at the scene by McCracken County Coroner. Mercy Regional and Reidland - Farley Fire Department assisted at the scene.
