On 3/30/2009 at approximately 9:50 AM, Deputy Colleen Pennebaker and Deputy Tom Crabtree responded to an accident with injuries on Cairo Road. Everett E. Bradford (78) of West Paducah, KY was driving eastbound on Cairo Rd in his 2007 Dodge Ram, when a vehicle in front of him stopped abruptly, causing him to brake to avoid collision. He was then struck from behind by a 2008 Chevrolet Pickup with an attached trailer hitch carrying a Yamaha Rhino, operated by Michael Roseberry (58) of Kevil, KY, whom was unable to stop his vehicle before a collision occurred. Mr. Bradford was transported by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service to Western Baptist Hospital with complaints of dizziness, and pain in his neck and right knee. Concord Fire Department also assisted at the scene. Both parties were wearing their seat belts.
