Injury Accident on Highland Church Road

A Paducah man received apparent minor injuries after a head-on accident with a tree at 5:56 P.M. today. Kyle T. Brindley, 28, of Paducah was traveling South bound on Highland Church Road and was approaching a sharp curve when he noticed a deer running towards his vehicle. He stated that he swerved to avoid the deer and struck a tree at the edge of the roadway. He was complaining of pain in his legs and transported to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment of his injuries. This particular area of Highland Church Road is very dangerous due to numerous blind hills and curves. A second accident was narrowly avoided due to the interruption in traffic flow as crews workers to clear the scene.
