Today at 1800 Clark's River Road was reduced to one East bound lane due to a injury accident. 74 year old James Hobbs of Calvert City was East bound in the slow lane operating a 2006 Kia Rio. Hobbs states that he saw the vehicle in front of him with the turn signal on but could not stop in time. He struck the vehicle in the rear. That vehicle was a 1999 Ford Windstar van operated by 51 year old Joe Strader also from Calvert city. Strader was stopped in traffic attempting to turn into the parking lot at Jamestown Plaza. 51 year old Patricia Strater of Calvert City was a passenger and transported to Western Baptist complaining of neck pain. Mr. Strader was uninjured. Mr. Hobbs went to Lourdes Hospital by private vehicle also complaining of neck pain.
