On 05/07/09, McCracken County Sheriff's Department detectives received information that two individuals were seen in the area of Old Mayfield rd. and Geibe rd., pushing a four-wheeler ATV across a field and into a wooded area.

Upon further investigation, detectives located the four-wheeler at the edge of the woods, behind a residence in the 6900 block of Old Mayfield rd. The four-wheeler was determined to be reported stolen on 04/27/09, from a residence on Timothy Drive, in Lone Oak.

At this time, detectives are investigating further leads.

The sheriff's department is also continuing to investigate the theft of another four-wheeler, reported stolen on 04/26/09, from a Rosewood Drive resident in the Hendron area. The owner reported that sometime on 04/25/09, someone stole a 2003 Yamaha Raptor from the driveway. The ATV is described as being black in color with red stripes. The ATV is valued at about $6,000 dollars. No photo available...
