From: Detective Jesse Riddle

On 06-01-2009 at approximately 17:15 hrs McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies received information that a wanted man was walking in the 800 block of Oscar Cross Boulevard. Deputies began searching the area. While searching the area deputies observed a 1993 Ford pickup occupied by two females and one male subject pull up to the intersection South 8th and Oscar Cross Streets. The male subject exited the vehicle and was observed placing US currency in one of his pockets. Deputies observed the male subject walk across the street and go inside Ebony LTD which is located at the intersection of South 8th and Oscar Cross. The male subject was observed coming out of Ebony LTD within a couple of minutes. While conducting surveillance on the male subject deputies observed the same 1993 Ford pickup pulling in the alley off of Oscar Cross. Deputies then observed the male subject make his way through a wooded area to the pickup truck and get inside. The vehicle left the area and was stopped for a traffic violation. A check of the occupants identity revealed that the male subject Nathan L. Martin was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant for failing to appear for court. Martin was arrested. A search of Martin's person revealed a plastic baggy containing marijuana. Deputies also arrested Julie Allen, a passenger in the vehicle who was admittedly under the influence of alcohol and cocaine. A search of the vehicle revealed several glass smoking pipes chore boy that were just purchased. The driver of the vehicle was cited for failing to use a turn signal.
