Sheriff's Deputies Recover Stolen Chevrolet Tahoe
McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies recovered a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe that had been reported stolen on May 26th from a Ledbbetter area home. Thursday night (May 28th at about 7:30PM, McCracken Sheriff's Deputies found the stolen SUV in a field (stuck in the mud) off of Meredith Road (between Cairo Road and Noble Road)

McCracken County Sheriff's Detectives are actively searching for a McCracken County man in connection with the above stolen Chevrolet Tahoe.
The Tahoe was stolen on May 26, 2009 from a residence located in Livingston County Kentucky on Rudd Spees Road. The home as also burglarized the same date, while occupied by the residents.
On May 28th, 2009 at about 7:30PM, McCracken Sheriff's deputies located and recovered the stolen Chevrolet Tahoe from a field located just off of Meredith Road in western McCracken County. The subsequent investigation by McCracken Sheriff's detectives has led to an arrest warrant being issued for a suspect that was in possession of this stolen vehicle in McCracken County at the time it was stuck in the field and left abandoned.
McCracken Sheriff's detectives are actively searching for Curtis Lee Styers age 42 of West Paducah. Styers is currently out of jail on bond for unrelated theft charges. There has been an arrest warrant issued for his arrest charging him with Receiving Stolen Property 0 / $300 (automobile). Styers is aware that he is being sought and reportedly has left the state of Kentucky. He is scheduled to be sentenced on the unrelated theft charge on June 17, 2009 in McCracken County Circuit Court.
