Paducah Female Charged with Promoting Contraband 1st Degree

On 06/08/2009 at approximately 09:21, Teresa G. Bellamy, 48, of Paducah Kentucky was charged with Promoting Contraband 1st degree. Ms. Bellamy was returning to McCracken County Regional Jail after having been released for the weekend. Upon her return, she entered McCracken County Jail with (18) 10MG Hydrocode pills and (5) Diazapam concealed within a balloon and hidden within her person. These pills were discovered during a clothing-change by Jail Deputies. McCracken County Sheriff Department charged Teresa Bellamy with Promoting Contraband 1st degree, A Class D Felony. Teresa Bellamy is lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
