Marshall County Man Arrested for Wanton Endangerment

I arrested 19 year old Ryan Holland of Marshall county after I clocked him and a second car traveling east bound on I-24 at the 5 mile marker running 116 mph in a 70 mph zone. When the drivers saw me turn in the median they turned off their lights off and exited the interstate at the 7 mile marker. Witnesses on Alben Barkley Drive state the cars came off at an excessive speed with their lights off and the Silver Nissan 350 Z driven by Holland didn't slow enough to make the turn onto Alben Barkley. The car hit the raised median bursting a front tire. The car crossed the median then traveled west n the east bound lanes nearly missing a car occupied by two people . Holland then turned into a parking lot exit at PCC and parked in the parking lot. Holland had a passenger riding in the cargo compartment of the car during these activities. He was charged with 3 counts of Wanton endangerment 1st degree, Speeding, and reckless driving. The second car was not identified.
