Single vehicle accident on Woodville Road near Kelly Road.

At approx. 0540hrs this morning Norman Brumley, 52 yoa, of Metropolis IL, was operating a gray 1990 Buick Century Westbound on Woodville Road near Kelly Road. Mr. Brumley failed to negotiate a right curve, ran off the left shoulder, and struck a tree. Mr. Brumley was transported by Mercy Regional Ambulance to Baptist ER for treatment of injuries. Members of West McCracken Fire Dept. responded and provided initial care. The collision caused the roadway to be blocked for approx an hour.
