Rain Causes Accident On Blandville Rd.

On 07-11-2009 at 1000 hours, the McCracken County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call of a single-vehicle accident with injury on Blandville Road near the county line with Ballard County. Tye Prince (Age 17 from Clinton) was operating a Chevy truck eastbound on Blandville Road when he lost control in a curve. He appeared to have lost control on the roadway due to a heavy downpour of rain. He then ran off the left-shoulder and down into a ditch. The Ballard County EMS transported Mr. Prince to Western Baptist Hospital. The Ballard County Sheriff's Office and the West McCracken Fire Department helped assist at the scene. The vehicle was damaged and was towed by Mack's.
