
Farley Couple Arrested On Drug Trafficking Charges
The McCracken County Sheriff Department Drug Division received information alleging illegal drug sales were taking place out of a farley home. A further investigation resulted in detectives obtaining a search warrant for the Howe residence located at 201 Virginia Street.
On 07/17/09 at approximately 03:39 a.m. sheriff's deputies and detectives executed the warrant. Upon entering the residence detectives located William K. Howe AKA "Key Hole" his wife, Linda S. Howe, and a juvenile. A search of the residence revealed multiple individual packaged bags of Marijuana weighing in excess of 100 grams, scales, packaging material, numerous large zip lock bags that contained Marijuana residue, US Currency, prescription controlled pills (Xanax and Lortab), and other related items.
The investigation revealed that the couple was providing Marijuana to family and close friends. Both were arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail without incident. The juvenile was placed with relatives.
Both had prior convictions for Trafficking In Marijuana. William Howe was currently on Felony Probation for Possession Of Methamphetamine.
