PADUCAH MAN ARRESTED AFTER DISTURBANCE ON MAXON ROAD
At approximately 23:52 hours the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept., responded to a disturbance at 3400 Maxon Road, Apt 3. The anonymous caller stated, to dispatch, they heard a woman screaming for help and they were scared from what they were hearing. Arriving on scene Jerry Harmon (46) of Paducah, claimed that his friend, Laura Salin (42) also of Paducah, was there intoxicated and he wanted her to leave. Salin was hiding in the corner of the livingroom when Deputies entered the residence to investigate the disturbance. After talking to Salin, she claimed that she locked herself in an upstairs bedroom during their argument. When Harmon could not open the door he grabbed his 12 gauge shotgun and shot the lock off the door. Harmon was also intoxicated at the time the incident took place. Harmon was arrested for two felony charges for his actions.
