Additional Suspect Charged In Burglary To Business
On 06/23/09, at approximately 11:45 p.m., deputies responded to a burglary alarm at Roadside Tobacco and Deli. Upon deputies arrival, it was discovered that someone had smashed the front window of the business and stole over approximately $3000 in lottery tickets and several cartons of cigarettes.
On this date, Brittany A. Emery, was arrested and charged with burglary to the Roadside Tobacco and Deli. After further investigation, it was determined that Emery entered the business and assisted in stealing cartons of cigarettes and Kentucky Lottery tickets.
On 06/24/09, Christopher B. Roper, was charged with burglary to the Roadside Tobacco and Deli, after it was discovered that he had been in possession of several hundred Kentucky Lottery tickets, which were determined to have been taken from the business.
Suspect: Brittany A. Emery, 19, Symsonia, Ky.
Charge: Burglary 3rd Degree
