Officers responded to a accident with injuries on Dixie Ave. off Husbands RD. Upon arrival investigation showed that James Moser 49 of Benton RD was riding a motor scooter that had pulled into the path of a 1995 Toyota van traveling west on Dixie Ave. Van was driven by Belinda Summers 50 of Vasseur Ave. Mr. Moser and a passenger on the scooter Steven Downs 23 of Butler St. Were pulling out of a drive way on Dixie when the struck the van traveling west on Dixie in the passenger side. Mr. Moser was transported to Western Baptist Hospital by Mercy Ambulance. Mr. Moser was cited for DUI 1st and remained in hospital under going treatment for injuries sustained in accident. No other parties were hurt in accident.
