TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DUI AND CARRYING CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPON.

On 08/16/2009 at 04:37 hours Dep Cory Golightly was on patrol and observed a motor vehicle traveling at 73 in a 55 mile per hour zone. The 2005 Ford F-250 was stopped and was being operated by 27 year old Michael Perry JR. of Paducah Kentucky. Dep. Golightly's investigation led to Perry being arrested for DUI. Upon further investigation there was a firearm located under the seat that was partially in plain view. Perry was arrested for the DUI and charged with the Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon that he did not have a license to carry the firearm.
